Credit Reporting Agencies

There are three major credit reporting agencies used throughout out the United States. They are Trans Union, Equifax and Experian. These companies gather information from creditors regarding the existence and status of your debts. They compile this data into a credit report.

While it is not legally required that lenders obtain a credit report from all three credit agencies, Magnolia Bank will obtain a "tri-merge" report. A tri-merge report gathers the data from all three agencies and issues it in one consolidated report. This eliminates wasted time and effort in comparing one report versus another looking for duplicate information. This information is stored securely and electronically eliminating paper usage and keeping your personal information safe and secure.

Some other mortgage companies will charge an up front fee for obtaining a credit report from the credit reporting agencies.  Magnolia Bank never charges an upfront fee for credit, applications or any other administrative function.
